Healthcare workers inspire us as they work every day, at significant personal risk, to keep us safe and healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful to them for their courage and sacrifices!

With this world health crisis, healthcare systems are overwhelmed with the shortage of personal protective equipment, ventilators, and testing kits. Many healthcare workers feel stressed and afraid that they may spread the infection to their families and other patients. To reduce the risk of spreading, many are isolating themselves from their families. It is not easy to make these choices -- between doing their job and protecting themselves and their family. One recent study in China showed high rates of mental health issues such as stress, depression, and insomnia among the frontline healthcare workers.
